Last Saturday, September 30, the Tobalaba Urban Market (MUT) was filled with art and creativity with the Narrative Illustration Workshop , carried out by the wonderful illustrator Catalina Cartagena in collaboration with Tienda Pasquín.

The workshop was held on the -1 floor of MUT,
in front of Tienda Pasquín.

At 3 p.m. sharp, the enthusiastic attendees, previously registered, began to arrive at the meeting place, eager to meet and learn from the talent of Cata Cartagena. Despite the great turnout for the activity, only 13 lucky participants were selected, because it was an exclusive event.

Cata Cartagena explained the activities in detail
to the participants.

The workshop was held in front of the Tienda Pasquín premises, located in the hallway on the -1 floor of Mercado Urbano Tobalaba , which was prepared especially for this occasion by the MUT team, which allowed for a much more enjoyable and unique meeting between the illustrator and the participants.

The activity was sponsored by the pencil brand Sharpie Chile , who were present during the workshop providing color and creativity with their famous pencils, and great gifts for all who attended this special occasion.

The Sharpie Chile pencils were great
protagonists of the day.

The experience lasted around two hours, during which the participants, guided by Cata Cartagena's instructions, applied all their creativity through different drawing and illustration activities. From performing an excerpt from a song by the singer Javiera Mena, to the use of a deck of cards designed by the artist herself, whose figures served as a source of inspiration.

The assistants worked very concentrated to give
the best of himself in the workshop.

As expected, curiosity attracted numerous passers-by, who, enchanted by the energy of the festivity, took advantage of joining the experience, discovering not only the workshop, but also getting to know the warmth of Tienda Pasquín. Many took with them a little piece of graphic art in their hearts!

The result was a table full of wonderful
colorful illustrations.

The day ended with an exciting raffle, in which three lucky women took home sets of pencils courtesy of Sharpie Chile . As a result, the workshop became an afternoon full of smiles and fun that we hope to repeat in our future workshops.

If you want to participate in any of our workshops and join these days full of entertaining activities, we invite you to follow us on our social networks and activate notifications , where we will announce upcoming workshops and events. Don't miss the opportunity to be part of this enriching experience!
